Washing the hulls

Since we had given the hull additional coats of clear resin to fill the fibergass weave, we had to wash them again to remove the amine blush in preparation for the final sanding and painting. That's how we spent three hours this saturday...

Total work time to date: 681 hours

  1. Hello Pippo and Cinzia.I've been enjoying your blog since the start.I have been inspired to the point that I bought a set of plans, reorganized the shop and surveyed the materials I had on hand. This was in 2014.Well life happens....2019,I bought a brand new Sea Clipper 20.The boat had been stored in a barn for a few years so it needed only cleaning! So thanks for the inspiration! I hope you are well Fair Winds Doug.

  2. Hiya Doug. Thanks for your message. We are glad to have triggered your curiosity: how does the boat perform?
We are a bit behind schedule since many things have happened, but will be back soon for the final rush. By the way, we had an inusually cold winter! Fair winds!
